Hey there!
So you're telling me that choosing between "Pineapple Yellow" and "Pastel Banana" for your 3D prints can be confusing? And we all know accurate color representation is impossible online, not to mention matte versus gloss versus glitter.
Well, fear not! The Print Codex is here to save the day with our accurate color chips. You'll be able to choose the perfect color for your prints without breaking the bank.
And let’s be real, who doesn’t love a good color swatch?
Our Mission
The Print Codex is on a mission to create positive change in the world of printing. We believe that printing should be a fun and creative process, not just a means to an end. By opening people's eyes to the possibilities (and colors!) available, The Print Codex hopes to inspire more people to get involved.
We’re starting small right now, with three brand specific sets, but the possibilities are endless when it comes to 3D printing and we want to expand to help you explore them all! We hope you’ll join us on that journey, we want to know what material chips you’d like to see in the future.
So come on, join the colorful revolution and let The Print Codex help you make your prints pop!
Sustainability
While it may sound counterintuitive as a business selling plastic, The Print Codex is committed to reducing waste and making sustainable choices. The versatility of 3D printing means that not only can you make something beautiful, you can also fix things that would otherwise end up in the landfill. We love a print that is colorful and functional!
Our main goal is to help you find the correct material the first time around, so you don't end up buying a whole roll of filament that sits on your shelf unused. Buying the wrong material can be frustrating, so we want to help you get it right the first time, saving you money and reducing waste.
Another way The Print Codex focuses on sustainability is through our use of eco-friendly packaging for all shipments. Packaging waste is a significant problem, so we've made a commitment to using only environmentally friendly materials whenever possible.
In-house we are also mindful of excess material waste. We print in batches by color, which helps to minimize the amount of excess material that goes unused. This is not only less wasteful, but it also helps keep costs down for you. We also make use of solar power whenever the sun is out (which is often in Australia!) and use PolyTerra PLA for all our branded prints - as they also have made the commitment to helping combat plastic waste too.
